Painting the Town
17th August 2018
Gosh, its been rather along time since my last post.
First of all I would like to thank those of you who have sent pictures of completed workshop pieces, I do like to see how they turn out, everyone manages to make them so personal.
I will post up some pictures in the gallery soon - My Autumn resolution?? is to work on the website, I would rather be stitching and painting than sat in front of the computer!
I will be posting my upcoming bookings on my events page
25th February 2018
The Craft4Crafters Show was very busy and I met a lot of old friends, I also had visits from some of the students from the SWQ Retreat in January. Two of them bought their completed "I Love Beer" pieces, it was really good to see how they had finished them.
I had also managed to finish my re-packaging, over to cardboard and using a minimal amount of polythene. It will be in my shop once I have photographed the kits!!
Now it's time to complete some more new pieces of work.
9th March 2018
A happy time visiting Portsmouth & District Embroiderers Guild and Haselmere Quilters, I hve also finished my "I Love Beer" cushion. (I love the art work I made so also did a cushion so that I can take it with me on my travels!!
am also designing a couple of new postcard kits for the Craft4Crafters Show in April. See my events page for full details, and a video link to see what was happening at the last show.

I had a great time at the South West Quilters Retreat in Beer at the end of January. I made a new piece of art work for the occasion and was pleased that a number of the ladies made their version of the piece. My version is on the Gallery page.
I am gradually adding to my gallery of phto's from workshops but this week i am busy getting ready for the Craft4Crafters Show at West Point in Exeter next week. -
Full details are on my events page - come and say hello - I will be on stand 165.

Getting ready for the Threads textile event at Farnham Maltings this coming Saturday (30th). Full details on my events page, please come and say hello if you can make the day.
Then its workshops / talks and off to the Big Textile Show in Leicester at the end of October
.I will be doing a 1 hour taster workshop in Leicester - students will be making a "Gingerbread Cottage gift box", just in time for Christmas - it will be here before we know it!!
My name is Anne Hellyer - although some of you will know me as Anne Moore!
I started this website to introduce my painted and stitched textiles to a wider audience.
I love paint and I love textiles and I combine the two in my work.
I hand paint all the fabric I use and then print the finer details, and embellish with machine stitch. Each piece is individually designed,
I create work that is flexible - able to change location as the mood takes you!
To that end each piece is self supporting. They do not require frames - can be either free standing or wall mounted - manipulated into a shape or hung "flat".
I do hope you enjoy looking at my site.
30th December 2017
I am busy updating various parts of my site, there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day at the moment.
Hope to get it done early January - until then Happy New Year to you all - the "hidden pages" I am working on will be revealed soon!!!!
I have updated my events page which gives details of where I will be up until June 2018.

After visiting and talking to the lovely ladies of King Alfred Quilting Group in Wantage last night, today I was off to Winchester to meet with my Zero Nine friends at our monthly Textile Group meeting. We are all busy making new art works for our exhibition in August.
