23rd August 2017

A long time since my last post - a busy summer. I started with week teaching at Crafty Retreats  in Limoges at the beginning of July where I met some lovely people (see some photos in my gallery pages). This was  followed by my own holiday and now I am back preparing for upcoming shows and workshops.

See my events page for full details of upcoming bookings

20th May 2017

I have been really busy preparing for my trip to Cornwall at the end of this month. I will be doing 3 workshops, visiting Wadebridge, Truro and St Ives. So a busy few days.

Hoping for some dry weather, preferably with some sun thrown in too!

4th June 2017

Just a quick update, back from Cornwall where I had a great time. Very talented and welcoming groups and they have all asked if I can come back next year!

Would love to re-visit so just need to work out dates.

If there are any other groups who would like to be included in my "tour" just get in touch and I will see if we can get the dates to work.

24th April 2017

Finally have a bit of time to add my new workshop to the site - a lighthouse doorstop (see workshops page for details).

I have had a very busy but thoroughly enjoyable start to 2017. Exhibiting, giving talks and running workshops and on every occasion meeting some very nice people. I do hope to be able to get my gallery more up to date in the next couple of weeks so if your workshop isn't yet showing, keep checking!!

25th September 2017

Getting ready for the Threads textile event at Farnham Maltings this coming Saturday (30th). Full details on my events page, please come and say hello if you can make the day.

Then its workshops / talks and off to the Big Textile Show in Leicester at the end of October

.I will be doing a 1 hour taster workshop in Leicester -  students will be making a "Gingerbread Cottage gift box", just in time for Christmas - it will be here before we know it!!

My name is Anne Hellyer - although some of you will know me as Anne Moore!

I started this website to introduce my painted and stitched textiles to a wider audience.

I love paint and I love textiles and I combine the two in my work.

I hand paint all the fabric I use and then print the finer details, and embellish with machine stitch. Each piece is individually designed,

I create work that is flexible - able to change location as the mood takes you!

To that end each piece is self supporting. They do not require frames - can be either free standing or wall mounted - manipulated into a shape or hung "flat".

I do hope you enjoy looking at my site.

27th February 2017

There are just not enough hours in the day at the moment. I had a brilliant time at Craft4Crafters in Exeter, so now I am trying to re-stock, develop new designs and prepare for forthcoming workshops. So the website and Facebook are having to take a back seat (again!!)

IMPORTANT UPDATE

If you bought a Beach Hut Bag Kit in Exeter and you have no "beach" please get in touch, a slight error  when packaging a few of them - sorry.

29th June 2017

Another quick update, where are the days going!!!

Off to France tonight for a holiday and a weeks teaching at Crafty Retreats near Limoges. I am really looking forward to

it  - I met Philippa and Fran at the shows in Exeter and Bristol and then visited them at the studio last year.

The studio is well equipped and in a beautiful location and it should be a very inspiring week.

24th October 2017

As I said in September  -  getting ready for the Big Textile Show at Leicester Race Course.

I will be on a stand with my good friend Alison Hulme, she will be selling her fanbulous screen printed pinnys, amongst other things. Do come and say hello if you are visiting the show.

Then its just a few more workshops in the run up to Christmas, followed by a busy 2018!
