Happy New Year everyone!
Busy working on some new kits and new pieces of work for the Craft4Crafters show at Exeter in February.
Also attempting to get ahead of the game by completing work for the zero nine exhibition at Hilliers in July.
Like most of us too many ideas and not enough hours in the day to get them all done - some things never change!!

I am launching a new limited edition kit at the show plus I will have copies of the DforDaisy Book with a fabric pack to make my project at a spec[al price for anyone who buys the book.
If you are coming to the show please come and say hello to see me in the gallery section
My name is Anne Hellyer
I started this website to introduce my painted and stitched textiles to a wider audience.
I love paint and I love textiles and I combine the two in my work.
I hand paint all the fabric I use and then print the finer details, and embellish with machine stitch. Each piece is individually designed,
I create work that is flexible - able to change location as the mood takes you!
To that end each piece is self supporting. They do not require frames - can be either free standing or wall mounted - manipulated into a shape or hung "flat".
I do hope you enjoy looking at my site.
7th March 2019
Finally had time to put some new kits on my shop, they will also be available at the Craft4CRafters Show at Shepton Mallet in April.

These were part of an exhibition by Andover Branch of the Embroiderers Guild last year to commemorate the Centenary of Votes for Women (well some women anyway).
